4 Additional Things I learned When I Started Spending Time Alone (Part 2)

For those of you who haven’t read the first article in this series titled 6 Things I Learned When I Started Spending Time Alone, you can find it here.
If you have, you already know that spending time alone is a necessity, especially with the high pace rhythm lives we are living these days.
Here are 4 additional things I learned when I started spending time alone. If you have more to add, we would love to read those in the comments 🙂

7- No Social Pressure To Achieve

When you engage in activities alone, you are more involved in what you are doing, fully immersed in the experience and maximizing the benefits of it. All of these benefits without the added pressure of how well you will perform.

Take a cooking class or go to a random Pilates class. Just experiment with what you like to do for your own inner enjoyment.

8- Finish Your Task List Faster

It is very easy to procrastinate when you have a task or two you don’t want to do. Spending time on your own will allow you uninterrupted time to get these things done! You will feel better for having ticked these off your task list and you will feel lighter for a job well done!

9- Set Some Goals

Think things through and allow your mind to wander. What do you want to achieve this month? The possibilities are endless. What would give you the most joy and what would make your life the most worth living? Set some goals for the month ahead and get going!

10- Alone Time Makes Us More Tolerant

Sometimes we get carried away due to anxiety and stress and we start to feel more irritable and annoyed with people. Spending time alone helps us deal with this anxiety and we become more tolerant. It is not only that, but many annoyances in life will decrease when you spend more time alone.

Do you spend time alone or looking to start doing that? Let us know in the comments how did that change your life.
