Go on a Spring Cleaning Journey, from the Inside Out!

Spring is a natural time to get a fresh start and for clearing out accumulated clutter. We do this ritual for our houses, our bodies and our minds. With Spring around the corner, it is a good idea to start the cleaning journey!

Eat More Raw Food

Replace your winter vegetables with some seasonal local raw vegetables and fruits. Raw veggies are full of vitamins, nutrients, minerals and enzymes which are sometimes lost in the cooking process. Get your full dose of energy with raw food!

Finalize your unfinished business

We all have a task or two, in some cases more, that we keep postponing. With the start of a fresh season, try to finish all accumulated business as this will make you feel anew.

Get rid of old stuff

The rule is, if you haven’t worn or used an item for the past year, it is probably time to get rid of it. If it no longer fits you or your personality, then it is time to let it go.

Sweat, sweat & sweat

Hot & cold water have been known throughout the ages to be extremely therapeutic in detoxing the mind and body of accumulated toxins. Enjoy a sauna treatment to stimulate fat loss and shower directly after to remove the excess skin and relax your muscles.

Control your emotional responses

Understand that emotional reactions are putting your body under more stress. Instead of stuffing yourself with too much food or exercise, try to understand your feelings instead. Feeling your feelings allows your body to “digest” or integrate them organically. You will be nourished by what you need, and will effortlessly eliminate the rest as waste.

Remember to breathe!

Every cell in your body needs oxygen to live! Oxygenate your body by breathing with the belly. Take a weekend and go breathe some fresh air! If you can’t do that, make sure to open your doors and windows on a Sunday morning and let the air freshen your house.
