Spring comes and brings with it a season of change and growth. For some people, that includes symptoms like sneezing, sniffling and itching – Allergies.

Allergies are an expression that your body is unbalanced! So instead of treating the symptoms with medication that usually create more imbalances in your body, it is important to rebuild your health to live in harmony with your surroundings.

Here are some tips you can follow to control and stop your allergies naturally.

1- Expose yourself to the sun

When your body is low on Vitamin D (The Sun vitamin) or is unable to utilize it properly, it is reflected with an increase in allergies. By increasing your exposure to natural sunlight and complementing your diet with natural source of Vitamin D you will help your body have the natural resources to fight these allergies.

2- Drink apple cider vinegar

It is an old age remedy for a long list of health related issues! With allergies, it has been known to reduce the production of mucus and cleanse the lymphatic system. Mix one tbsp. of organic apple cider vinegar with one tbsp. of freshly squeezed lemon juice and half a tbsp. of raw honey and drink the mix three times a day. Keep in mind that it is not recommended you take ACV if you have any kind of stomach ulcers, CROHN’s disease, low blood pressure or diabetes.

3- Eat or drink your healthy bacteria

Allergies are a sign of an imbalance in your immune system that causes the body to react too strongly to a stimulus. The proper balance of healthy bacteria in your gut can help reduce the recurrence of allergies. 4- Acupuncture

5- Turmeric

If you are not familiar with turmeric, it is a spice that is used in curry and Indian cuisine. It contains Curcumin that has been known across ages to help reduce allergy symptoms and prevent colds.

6- Change your clothes when you get home

Even if you don’t see it, remember that you drag pollen into your home through your clothes and shoes. As soon as you get home, change your clothes and toss them into the hamper immediately.
